Mr. Nestor Jardin

Chairman of the Board
Mr. Nestor Jardin is the former president and artistic director of the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the chairman of the Board of Trustees of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. He also served as member of the Board from 2008-2011.
He is recognized for creating the Philippine Cultural Education Plan, the success of the Cinemalaya Festival, and as a John D. Rockefeller III Awardee in 2008.

Br. Dennis Magbanua FSC

President

Br. Dennis Magbanua FSC is the President of De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde. He is the former President of De La Salle Santiago Zobel, La Salle Academy Iligan and Saint Joseph School-La Salle in Bacolod. An avid user of technology, particularly the iOS and Mac OSX, Brother Dennis became an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2011.
Brother Dennis nished his Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics at De La Salle University and his Master of Arts in Teaching in Youth Ministry at the University of Saint La Salle in Bacolod City. He completed his PhD Major in Education Management at De La Salle University-Dasmarinas.

Br. Victor Franco FSC

Br. Victor Franco FSC is the current President of La Salle Green Hills and La Salle College Antipolo. He is the former President and Chancellor of De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde from 2007 to 2013.
Brother Vic served in various leadership capacities. He was a member of the Council of the Superior General in Rome, Brother Visitor of the former Philippine District, Director of Novices and Director of Scholastics.
He was president and principal of several La Salle Schools in the country. He finished his undergraduate degrees and his Master of Arts in Educational Administration at De La Salle University and his Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry at La Salle University, Philadelphia.

Br. Michael Valenzuela FSC

Br. Michael Valenzuela FSC is currently the Instutional Lasallian Animator of De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde. He also teaches Theology and Religious Education at De La Salle University.
He was the former Director of the Lasallian Animation and Formation Team (LAFT) and Sub-Director of the Lasallian Formation Center. Brother Mike was also part of the committee who revisited the Rule of the Brothers at the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Rome, Italy. Brother Mike finished his undergraduate degree at the University of the Philippines Diliman, Master of Arts in Religious Education at Maryhill School of Theology and PhD from the Loyola School of Theology.

Ms. Victorina Amalingan-Sales

Ms. Victorina “Vicky” Amalingan-Sales joined the Board of Trustees of De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde in January 2016. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Museo De La Salle Dasmariñas, and Philippine Women’s University. She also served as a Board Member of La Salle Green Hills, De La Salle University Hospital and Health Science Institute, and De La Salle Museum Taft.
With her expertise in the arts, business and socio-civic organizations, Ms. Vicky served as the Chairman of the De La Salle Centennial Committee, and Founding Chairman of De La Salle Artists’ Foundation Inc. She is currently the Chairman of the Board of the Vizcarra Pharmaceutical Inc., S.C. Vizcarra, Inc., Vizcarra Diagnostic Clinic and Amalingan Development Corporation. She is the President of the Arnold Jansen Foundation, Inc. and Founding Chairman of the Salus Infirmorum Foundation Inc.
She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at the Philippine Women’s University.

Dr. Clodualdo Del Mundo, Jr.

Dr. Clodualdo "Doy" Del Mundo Jr. is an accomplished screenwriter, director, author and professor. He has received the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards, Metro Manila Film Festival, Gawad Urian and Film Academy of the Philippines awards for Best Screenplay for his numerous works.
As an educator, Dr. Del Mundo was the former head of De La Salle University’s Communication Arts Department where he is currently recognized as a Professor Emeritus. He was also founding member and former Chairman of the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino and Vice President
 of the Screenwriters Guild of the Philippines.
He finished his Bachelor of Arts at the Ateneo de Manila University, Master of Arts in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Kansas and PhD in Communication Studies at the University of Iowa.

Ms. Anna Meloto-Wilk

Ms. Anna Meloto-Wilk is the President and Co-founder of Gandang Kalikasan, the makers of Human Nature brand, the country’s top natural cosmetics company and leading social enterprise.
As an enterprise, the company stands for three core principles: Pro-Philippines, Pro-Poor and Pro-Environment. As a testament to her success, Ms. Wilk was named Asia 21 fellow for 2016. Human Nature also garnered the international Sustainable Pioneer Award for 2016 given by European research firm, Organic Monitor. Together with her husband Dylan, they received the Schwab Foundation 2012 Global Social Entrepreneur Award.

Mr. Mario Jose Ongsingco

Mr. Mayo Jose B. Ongsingco was the President of The Insular Life Assurance Company, Ltd. during 2004-2015. He was also Director and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of Union Bank of the Philippines and served as Director in Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, Asian Hospital Inc., Keppel Philippines Marine, Subic Shipyards & Engineering, Keppel Holdings and several Insular Life subsidiaries such as Insular Savings Bank, Insular Health Care and Insular Investment Corporation. Mr. Ongsingco is currently a Director in Mapfre-Insular Insurance Corporation, Adviser to the Board of First Metro Investment Corporation and Trustee in the Foundation for Carmelite Scholastics. He brings to the board a wealth of domestic as well as international business experience having previously worked in Hong Kong, Malaysia and the United States.
Mr. Ongsingco graduated Magna Cum Laude with Jose Rizal Honors Society distinction from De La Salle University with dual degrees AB Economics and BSC Accounting. He subsequently completed his Master of Business Administration degree at the University of the Philippines with Pi Gamma Mu and University Scholar honors. Mr. Ongsingco also topped the Master of National Security Administration Regular Class #33 at the National Defense College of the Philippines.

Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC

Br. Edmundo “Dodo” Fernandez FSC is the Brother Visitor of De La Salle Brothers, Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD) since May 2011. He joined the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Board of Trustees in April 2015. He formerly served as a member of the DLS-CSB Board from 2001 to 2010 and was the Interim President of the College from May 2006 to May 2007.
Prior to that, Brother Dodo was assigned as the Brother Visitor for De La Salle Brother for the District of the Philippines, Director of Postulants and Scholastics of De La Salle Brothers, Chairman of the De La Salle Brothers Pacific-Asia Regional Conference, Lasallian Services Commission and Chairman of-of the Association of Major Religious Superiors of the Philippines. A professional artist with a broad array of experiences, Brother Dodo brings his expertise in the field of the arts, education, and formation of the youth.
He finished Bachelor in Fine Arts and Studio Arts Major in Painting at the University of the Philippines Diliman and Master of Education, Major in Religious and Values Education.

Ms. Guillermina Gabor

Ms. Guillermina Gabor is a successful entrepreneur and a respected public servant. In the private sector, she started the rst handicraft export manufacturing company in the Philippines, Lawin Cottage Industries. In the government, she was the founder and president of the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, Inc. (CITEM) and Secretary of the Department of Tourism.
Ms. Gabor received her PhD in Entreprenology from the International University of Entreprenology in Hawaii.

Maria A. Ressa

Maria has been a journalist in Asia for more than 25 years, most of them as CNN’s bureau chief in Manila then Jakarta. She became CNN’s lead investigative reporter focusing on terrorism in Southeast Asia and wrote "Seeds of Terror: An Eyewitness Account of al-Qaeda’s Newest Center of Operations in Southeast Asia" (Free Press, 2003). The book was the first from the region documenting the growth of Jemaah Islamiyah and its links to Al-Qaeda.
In 1987, Maria was one of the founders of independent production company, Probe. In 2005, she took the helm of ABS-CBN News and Current affairs, for 6 years managing more than 1,000 journalists for the largest multi-platform news operation in the Philippines. Her work aimed to redefine journalism by combining traditional broadcast, new media and mobile phone technology for social change.
She taught courses in politics and media for her alma mater, Princeton University, as well as in broadcasting at the University of the Philippines. Her latest book, "From Bin Laden to Facebook," is part of her work as the Author-in-Residence and Senior Fellow at the International Centre for Political Violence & Terrorism Research in Singapore. She was named the Southeast Asia Visiting Scholar at CORE Lab at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
Despite documenting some of the worst disasters and uprisings in Southeast Asia, she believes in the goodness of human nature and in the transformative powers of media and technology.

Arch. Emmanuel Miñana

Arch. Emmanuel Miñana is a known architect in the region with key projects in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia. He is the head of his own design rm, Emmanuel A. Miñana and Associates, Architects (EAMA),
 that was formed in 1990.
Among his works are the Santa Elena Lakeside Restaurant in Santa Rosa, Laguna and Mountainside Casitas Laena de Taal Village Resort in Talisay, Batangas.

Edgar O. Chua


Edgar O. Chua is the Country Chairman of Shell companies in the Philippines. He has corporate responsibility for the various Shell companies in the exploration, manufacturing and marketing sector of the petroleum business. He also oversees the Shared Services operations and various Shell holding companies. Ed is an independent Director of Energy Development Corporation (EDC) and chairs the audit and related party transaction committees. He is also an independent director of the Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc (IMI) and also chairs the audit and related party transaction committees. He is currently on the Advisory Boards of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Coca Cola FEMSA Philippines and Globe Telecom, Inc. until Q1 2016; Ed is Chairman of the Philippine Business for the Environment; President of Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc; and trustee of various civic and business organizations including the National Competitiveness Council, the Trilateral Commission and the ASEAN Business Council.
His career spans more than 37 years of experience in the business fields of chemicals, auditing, supply planning and trading, marketing and sales, lubricants, corporate affairs and general management. Outside the Philippines, he held senior positions as Transport Analyst in Group Planning in the UK and as General Manager of the Shell Company of Cambodia. From July1999 to August 2003, he served in various regional roles in Shell Oil Products East including GM for Consumer Lubricants for Asia Pacific covering all countries East of Suez Canal including Saudi Arabia, China, India, Korea, ASEAN, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. He also headed Shell’s Global Marketing for Commercial Fuels.
Ed earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University (1978) and attended various international seminars and courses including the senior management course in INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He is a recipient of numerous local and international recognitions, including CEO EXCEL for Excellence in Communication in Organisations (2005); Asia People of the Year (2013); Management Association of the Philippines’ (MAP) Management Man of the Year (2013); CEO of the Year in the Asia Pacific SABRE (Superior Achievement in Branding Reputation and Engagement) Awards in China in 2014. In 2015, he was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Golden Wheel Awards Foundation. In 2016, he was awarded by the Asia CEO as Global Filipino Executive of the Year.
