    Internalization Program

The College internationalisation program focused on strengthening its academic global partnerships for student mobility, student exchange, faculty mobility and faculty exchange programs across 12 countries. A number of these partnerships are also vital in curriculum and faculty development of different degrees and the offering SHRIM’s double degree program.

One highlight in the internationalisation program is the College’s participation in the One La Salle Initiative with the International Association of La Salle Universities (IALU). De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde agreed to co-operate toward the internationalization of higher education through semester-long student exchanges for non-degree seeking students at the Receiving Institution in the next academic year.

    Benilde Boracay

In 2016, Benilde worked with the Boracay Department of Education to give a series of Technical Vocation Modules on HRIM tracks for Boracay National High School Teachers that was facilitated by the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management (SHRIM) Faculty. This initially served as a Community Service response of the College that led to realisation of the need for a TESDA-accredited training Centre in Boracay Island.

Since Boracay is a world-renowned tourist destination, the College saw the potential of locals to be hired in the hospitality industry of the area; thus, the College pursued the direction of putting up a Training Centre for locals to acquire vocational skills. In 2017, the property for Benilde Boracay Training Centre was purchased for construction in the following academic year.
